Crystal and Mineral (not water) collection ....

... TADAAA ... Presenting the finer specimens of the KK Collection of Crystals and Minerals to the public for the first (and likely last) time

My fascination with minerals and crystals began when I was presented with a Lapis Lazuli which my mom gave me as a good luck charm during exams

Lapis lazuli /ˈlæpɪs ləˈzl/ or /ˈlæʒl/ (sometimes abbreviated to lapis) is a deep blue semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color.
Lapis lazuli was being mined in the Sar-i Sang mines[1] and in other mines in the Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan as early as the 7th millennium BC,[2] Lapis beads have been found at neolithic burials in Mehrgarh, the Caucasus, and even as far from Afghanistan as Mauritania.[3] It was used for the eyebrows on the funeral mask of King Tutankhamun (1341–1323 BC).[4]

The Early Years

Establishing a collection

Fast forward 15 years later .... zzzz I have amassed the glowy crystal below which was a gift from a friend ...

and then I progressed to crystals that were functional and cool ....

This one can drink water out of ...

Dragon oso I got ...

At the time of writing my massive collection holds all - most - some of the awesome crystals above.

Conclusion

There are no other interesting specimens in my collection.  I have no containers to keep them in.

Meanwhile, if you are thinking <WTF> is this guy (or girl) on ... - the truth is - go to this other blog to see a REAL crystal and mineral collection (incidentally he donated the glowy orange one to me) .... some say the biggest in Kota Damansara and Bandar Utama >_<
